I made my entry into the realms of serious photography in 1992 with a second-hand Olympus OM4 and a standard lens.
Supplemented with some other equipment I began to travel, both in my home area here in the south
of Sweden as in faraway places as USA, Australia and Malaysia.
My first and foremost love when it comes to imagemaking was nature shots and at heart I still am a nature
photographer. Lately I've worked in projects, at times in very "urban" areas. I certainly don't mind being called a Nature Photographer, but actually prefer just Photographer.
My pictures are shown in various publications, often in connection with environmental issues and also form the base for my lectures on nature and travel.
Agents for selling my pictures include Photoshot/Woodfall Wild Images in UK.
I try to maintain a balance between artistic and documental images and do not really see any contradictions between the two.
I believe that photography at it's best can communicate and influence people in a way few other ways of expressions can.
I have received prizes in international Nature Photo competetions, notably in the world famous "BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year". For more info see the "Awards" section in the menu to the left.
Over the years my archive has expanded. I wish to give you an overview of my work with this website.
In the "Galleries" and "Galleries Special" sections in the English menu to the left, you'll find images from my native Sweden and from somewhat more remote (well, from my part of the world) places.
In the Swedish menu, you'll find images of a project in my former hometown of Malmö.
For info on my services as Fine Art Prints etc, see the "Services" in the English menu section, or in the Swedish menu, "Tjänster".
